Jessica Johnson, COTA/L

I received my Occupational Therapy Assistant's degree from Eastern Virginia Career College and obtained a license through the Board of Medicine in 2021. Prior to this, I spent 7 years working with the pediatric population, specifically children with ASD in the school setting. Being a Pediatric COTA has combined two of my passions, working with kids and motivating others to do the things that mean the most to them. I love helping children achieve the skills needed to engage in meaningful and essential occupations through fun (and sometimes a little messy) activities and games! Some of my favorite OT activities are playing a game with the scooter board, building an obstacle course, and getting messy in the Messy Room!

When I’m not working with awesome kids you can find my planning my wedding, playing with my four-legged children Pelly and Fiona, listening to podcasts, or watching reality TV! I also love sushi, decorating for the holidays, being at the beach, and having dance parties with my friends!
