If you are interested in having your child seen here at Helping Hands, please review the information below.

Prior to scheduling an appointment:

Before we can schedule your child's appointment, please be sure to have your child's doctor fax us a prescription for the requested service with a diagnosis code noted. Doctors may also use our Referral Form in lieu of writing their own prescription. We must have the prescription/referral form on file prior to scheduling an appointment.

If you are looking to transfer to Helping Hands from another therapy provider*, we will need the initial evaluation performed by the other therapy provider, as well as their latest re-evaluation/goal check, and a prescription/referral form from your child's doctor. Once this information is received, our lead therapists will review the outside documentation to see if we can bypass our new patient evaluation process to get your child right on the therapy schedule.

If you have questions regarding billing and/or insurance,

contact our billing & insurance coordinator at 540-657-1423.

We accept many insurance policies (please see the list below of our current accepted insurances). Balances deemed patient responsibility per your insurance are due at the time of service. We accept major credit cards, cash, and personal checks.

  • Aetna

  • Anthem

  • Anthem BCBS Federal Employee Plan (FEP)

  • BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS)

  • CareFirst BCBS
