Our staff, our clients and our families are not required to wear masks while onsite. Everyone is encouraged to mask at your own discretion. Ms. Lisa attended the University of Hartford, and is the owner and director of Helping Hands, Inc., as well as the founder of the Helping Hands Private Day School.
Her favorite thing to do/use in our facility is the use of suspension equipment and cording, and utilizing the other items in our tool box of resources. Her passion is providing education for families and their communities, and being a resource for them, including advocating for and supporting Occupational Therapy needs in schools.
She is certified in Therapeutic Listening (she is a certified provider), Quick Shifts, Autism, Handwriting Without Tears, Reflex Integration, Nutrition - ADHD/Autism, Floor Time Model, Brain Gym, Brain Connections, Crisis Prevention Intervention, Zones of Regulation, Alert Program, Social Thinking, Use of S.I. as a Tool, Positive Behavior Interventions and Support, OT Immersion, Twice Exceptional, and she has attended the M.O.R.E. Conference.
