Stephanie Bishop, COTA/L

Ms. Stephanie earned her Associates Degree in OT from Tidewater Community College, and prior to joining our team 6 years ago, she worked at Mary Washington Hospital in Inpatient Rehab.

Her favorite thing to do/use in our facility during treatment is to integrate multiple sensory systems into each activity. Her interests in the OT field include Reflex Integration, Astronaut Training, Vestibular Integration, and Therapeutic Listening.

Her certifications/training include: Therapeutic Listening (she is a certified provider), QuickShifts, Autism, Handwriting Without Tears, Reflex Integration, Astronaut Training, Brain Gym, Brain Connections, Crisis Prevention Intervention, Zones of Regulation, Alert Program, Social Thinking, and Use of SI as a Tool; and she has attended the M.O.R.E. conference.
