Ms. Helen began substitute teaching at the Helping Hands Private Day School over a year ago after spending 16 years caring for her own children as a stay at home mom, as well as working in retail and with the McLean County Jail.
She is the proud mother to 3 children, two of which are on the Spectrum. Because of this, her passion for helping special needs children grew, and her passion for working with them fell into place. She enjoys seeing them on a daily basis and working with them in the school's gym. She is trained/certified in MANDT training.
